NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's Level III NICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct care to critically ill and medically complex neonates. You will manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support, including those receiving therapeutic cooling.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates
- Manage infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/cooling
- Support patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen systems
- Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical arterial/venous catheters, and other invasive devices
- Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
- Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and closely monitor patient condition changes
- Recognize and respond quickly to neonatal deterioration and emergencies
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide education and emotional support to families
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- 3–4+ years of Level III NICU experience
- Hands-on therapeutic cooling experience
- Ability to independently manage complex patients
- Comfort functioning in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
