NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's Level III NICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct care to critically ill and medically complex neonates. You'll work with premature infants requiring advanced respiratory support, therapeutic cooling, and intensive monitoring in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to high-acuity neonates, including those requiring therapeutic hypothermia
- Manage patients on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen support
- Monitor and maintain central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices
- Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
- Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and respond quickly to clinical deterioration
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team
- Support families with education and emotional guidance throughout hospitalization
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- 3–4+ years of hands-on Level III NICU experience
- Demonstrated expertise with therapeutic cooling
- Ability to manage complex patients independently with minimal supervision
- Travel nursing experience preferred
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
