NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility's Level III NICU cares for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates. You'll work independently and collaboratively to manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced respiratory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and therapeutic cooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates, including those requiring therapeutic hypothermia
- Manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices
- Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
- Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and recognize signs of deterioration
- Respond quickly to emergencies and participate in neonatal resuscitation
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide education and emotional support to families
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- 3–4+ years of Level III NICU experience
- Hands-on therapeutic cooling experience
- Ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Travel nursing experience is preferred. Standard onboarding requirements, background check, and immunizations apply.
