Interventional Radiology (IR) / Angiography Nurse
Savannah, GA | 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30) | 13-week contract
About the Role
You'll join a high-acuity interventional radiology team in a busy angiography suite with three labs, including two dedicated IR labs and one hybrid OR. This role offers strong exposure to complex vascular and stroke interventions in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist with advanced vascular procedures: thrombectomy, atherectomy, permcath and port placement, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, stroke, and trauma interventions
- Work in teams of 3–4 (typically 2 RNs and 2 techs) under the direction of a lead tech
- Monitor critical care drips, hemodynamics, and patient safety
- Support interventional radiologists and vascular specialists during time-sensitive cases
Required
- Current RN license (state specific)
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Critical care experience (ICU or ER background required)
- Angio/IR experience, including stroke and trauma care
- Ability to handle high-acuity, fast-paced environments
Details
- Call requirements included in 4 x 10 schedule
- Uniform: Royal blue and black scrubs
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- No floating between units
