Surgical Technologist — Operating Room

Stockton, CA | 13-Week Contract | 3×12 Days (10:30 AM Start)

This OR position supports a high-volume surgical suite handling a broad range of cases across multiple specialty service lines. The facility runs up to 9–10 operating rooms daily, averaging 23–25 cases per day.

Case Types Include:

• General surgery
• Vascular
• Orthopedics
• Endoscopy
• Urology
• Cardiovascular/Open Heart Surgery (CVOR experience especially needed)

Shift Details:

• Start time: 10:30 AM
• 3×12-hour shifts per week
• Night, weekend, and holiday call required in rotation (approximately 4–5 call shifts per 4-week period)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• No floating required
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA
• BLS certification
• Prior cardiovascular OR scrub experience preferred
• All facility-required onboarding modules must be fully completed before start date — no exceptions

Contract Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension based on 91-week posting)
• Start date: October 12, 2026
• The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
