Medical Surgical RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical RN for night shift work on a dedicated MS unit. This is a 16-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Shift Type: 12-hour nights (block scheduling not guaranteed)
• Floating: Yes, float to other units as needed

Clinical Scope

You'll provide post-surgical care to adult patients with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery patients. You'll manage specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes.

Requirements

• Current RN license (active in New York)
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience
• Travel experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NURSYS license verification
• Valid driver's license
• Navy blue scrubs required
