CT Tech – Overnight Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for overnight coverage (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a 13-week contract. You'll work a 6-week rotating schedule, including every third weekend.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
- 40 guaranteed hours weekly
- Every third weekend required
- Expect holiday and weekend coverage as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year CT experience (first-timers welcome with appropriate background)
- Current BLS and ARRT-CT certifications
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required—no exemptions
- Proficiency with facility charting system required
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a wide range of CT studies including:
- Head, cervical, chest, abdomen, pelvis, lumbar, and thoracic imaging (with and without contrast)
- Musculoskeletal trauma studies
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Peripheral IV insertion
- PACS operation
The facility handles approximately 120 exams per 24 hours across three imaging rooms, serving diverse patient populations (neonates through geriatrics).
What's Not Included
- No on-call requirements
- No floating to other facilities
- No charge nurse duties
