Respiratory Therapist — Travel Contract | Jackson, TN

Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour (06:45–19:15)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 5, 2026

This Respiratory Therapist position is based in a facility serving a diverse patient population spanning adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role involves a broad range of respiratory care across multiple acuity levels within an interdisciplinary care environment.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Administration of aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
Chest physiotherapy (CPT) and incentive spirometry
Oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and arteriocentesis
Tracheostomy care and management, mechanical ventilation weaning
Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
High-flow nasal cannula, intubation assistance, and airway management (oral and nasal)

Schedule & Coverage:

Weekend and holiday coverage required
No on-call obligations
Floating may be expected

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
Active RRT credential
BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
Active Tennessee license or compact license required at time of submission
Recent electronic health record experience (within the past 18 months) required and must be documented on your profile; candidates must pass a competency exam — one attempt only
COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccine required with no exemptions

Vaccination: COVID-19 required (exemptions considered) | Flu vaccine required, no exemptions

Local candidates are welcome and considered at the same rate as travelers.
