Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — Travel Contract

Jackson, TN | Days | 13-Week Contract

This position is open to both travelers and local candidates. Join a respiratory therapy team delivering care across a broad patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3×12-hour shifts (06:45–19:15)
• Weekends and holidays required
• No on-call duties
• Floating may be expected

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administration of aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Chest physiotherapy (CPT), incentive spirometry, and oxygen therapy
• CPAP/BiPAP setup and management
• Arteriocentesis and ABG interpretation
• Airway management including nasal/oral airway placement, suctioning, intubation assistance, and extubation
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Mechanical ventilation management and weaning
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RRT credential
• BLS and ACLS (must be in hand at submission)
• Active Tennessee or compact RRT license at time of submission

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Charting system experience within the past 18 months is required and must be clearly documented on your profile
• Candidates must pass a charting competency exam; only one attempt is permitted — failure results in cancellation
• Travel experience preferred

Vaccines

• COVID-19: Required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu: Required (no exemptions)

Orientation: 36 hours; an additional 10 hours may be added if the charting competency exam is not passed.
