Operating Room RN — Pasadena, TX
Day Shift | 13-Week Contract | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
This multi-specialty OR handles a high volume of surgical cases across general, orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, and ENT services. The team operates in a fast-paced environment where initiative and adaptability are essential to keeping the day moving efficiently.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night shift is on-call only
- On-call required weekly, plus one weekend per month
Procedures & Clinical Scope
- Open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery (appendectomies, cholecystectomies, some bariatrics)
- Robotic orthopedics including total knees, total hips, and trauma cases
- Laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent surgical interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Proficiency in orthopedic, general, urology, and GYN cases
- BSN preferred
Preferred Skills
- ENT and non-cardiac vascular experience
- Pediatric surgical experience
