Registered Nurse

Travel RN – Operating Room | Wichita, KS

Seasonal Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights

This OR position supports a high-volume surgical suite managing a broad range of procedures across multiple specialties. The role offers strong clinical variety and the opportunity to work with advanced robotic surgical platforms.

Shift & Schedule

• 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirements: one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday shift every fourth week, and one 8-hour Saturday or Sunday call shift per month
• 30-minute on-call response time required

Surgical Specialties & Procedures

Orthopedics, gynecology, general surgery, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, ophthalmology, pediatrics, spine, neurosurgery, trauma, TAVR, and robotic-assisted procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Kansas RN license (or compact eligibility)

Preferred Qualifications

• Robotic surgical experience (da Vinci)
• Orthopedic, neurology, or vascular OR background
