Registered Nurse

Emergency Department RN — Baltimore, MD

This evening/night shift ED position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency department serving a diverse patient population across a wide spectrum of acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend plus holidays required
• 13-week contract | Anticipated start: September 28, 2026

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN license (verified through Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Current EKG competency

Clinical Scope

You'll be delivering emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a broad range of conditions — from minor illness to high-acuity emergencies. Strong assessment skills, the ability to prioritize rapidly changing patient needs, and comfort in a high-volume environment are essential.

Onboarding Highlights

Prior to starting, candidates should be prepared to provide:

• Two professional references
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB screening)
• Fit test documentation
• Valid government-issued ID
• Core competency and EKG assessment completion upon onboarding
