Registered Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric Critical Care

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift assignment across pediatric intensive care, emergency department, and general pediatric units. This is a 12-hour night shift, every-other-weekend schedule with float responsibilities.

Shift & Contract Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Contract Duration: 89 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
• Location: Atlanta, GA

Clinical Scope

You'll provide respiratory support to pediatric patients across critical care settings, including PICU, NICU, and emergency care. Experience managing high-acuity pediatric patients, particularly those in trauma and post-critical-care scenarios, is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Extensive critical care background in PICU, NICU, and ED
• Current RRT licensure
• Active Georgia license at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• Flu vaccination required (2025–2026 season; no exemptions)
• Nicotine-free status; testing required along with drug screen
• RTO (requests for time off) must be included at submission
