Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 12-hour night shift assignment across the ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. This is an every-other-weekend schedule with no call requirements.
Shift Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- 36 guaranteed hours weekly
- 13-week contract
- No on-call expectations
- Float role across multiple units
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
- Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
- Pediatric experience is essential
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) licensure
- Active Georgia license at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred
Important Requirements
- Nicotine-free candidate; testing required with drug screen
- Flu vaccination required for 2025–2026 season (no exemptions accepted)
- RTO (Requests Time Off) must be submitted with application
Clinical Environment
You'll provide respiratory support to pediatric patients across critical care, emergency, and acute care settings. Experience managing complex pediatric airways, ventilation management, and high-acuity cases is expected.
