MRI Technologist | Days | Des Moines, IA

This 13-week contract places an MRI Technologist in a fast-paced imaging department serving a diverse patient population that includes emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient cases.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–8:00 AM start / 3:30 PM–4:30 PM end
• 40 hours per week
• On-call: one weeknight (Sunday–Thursday) and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) approximately every 10th weekend
• Holiday coverage required for 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day

Clinical Scope

• MRI imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Power injection and contrast administration
• Float requirement across multiple campuses within the health system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience
• ARRT certification (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• Valid driver's license
• Specialty-specific skills checklist
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager within the past 24 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with both GE MRI equipment
• Prior travel experience
• Radiology information system experience
• Recent hospital-based experience

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Orientation available: 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, or 10/12
