Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift position. You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring patients with various acute and chronic conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
Shift & Duration
- Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Contract: 18 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Permanent Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand at time of submission
- One manager/supervisor/director reference from work within the past 12 months (required for submission)
What to Expect
During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment. Both must be passed on your first or second attempt.
Important Requirements
- Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine screening (must be completed within 12 months of start and updated annually)
- Background check clearance (no open cases or license hits accepted)
- BCI/FBI clearance within 48 hours of contract signing
- Annual hands-on competency modules if contract extends
Extension Option
Candidates may extend up to 18 months; a 6-month break may follow (subject to facility approval).
