ICU Night Shift – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for its cardiac intensive care unit. You'll provide direct patient care on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend rotation.
Clinical Scope
This role focuses on post-operative cardiac surgery patients and high-acuity cases requiring advanced hemodynamic support. You'll manage patients on devices including IABP and Impella, collaborate closely with the surgical team, and maintain the highest standards of critical care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience in a cardiac or cardiothoracic surgery setting
- Current BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certifications
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Ability to float between ICU and intermediate care units as needed
- Any color scrubs
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Orientation: Weekly
- Holiday Requirement: If working through winter holidays, 2 holidays are mandatory

Candidates must have been separated from their previous employer for 6+ months prior to assignment start.
