Cardiovascular ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a rotating shift position with both day and night options available.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:30 (3x12-hour)
- Night shifts: 19:00 – 07:30 (3x12-hour)
- Rotating schedule; shifts may adjust to meet operational needs
- Must work at least every other holiday
Requirements
- 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in cardiovascular or critical care nursing
- Active, permanent Ohio license or current compact state license (in hand at submission)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (in hand at submission)
- One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from work completed in the past 12 months (no co-worker references)
Orientation & Assessments
During orientation, you'll complete:
- ECG rhythm recognition test
- SafeMedicate assessment
- Acceptable scores on both are required to continue
What to Know
- Background check and license verification are part of the process
- BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- Extensions available up to 18 months
