Registered Nurse

ICU / CT Surgery RN — Night Shift | Cambridge, MA | 13-Week Contract

This position supports a critical care unit specializing in cardiothoracic surgery patients, requiring a confident nurse with hands-on experience managing complex, high-acuity postoperative cases.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 48 hours per week; 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Every-other-weekend rotation (days and nights)
• If working through winter holidays, 2 holidays are required

Clinical Scope

• Cardiothoracic surgery patient population, post-op and critical care management
• Required experience with mechanical circulatory support devices, including IABP and Impella
• Float responsibilities between ICU and IMCU as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or CT surgery setting
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) — both required
• Active RN license
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of separation from any prior role at the hiring organization to be considered
