Registered Nurse – ICU/IMCU
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in the ICU/IMCU. This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning October 5, 2026.
Shift Details
- 12-hour nights, every other weekend rotation
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
- 2 holidays required if working through winter period
- Weekly orientation
Clinical Scope
You'll care for post-cardiac-surgery patients and provide specialized support for advanced circulatory devices including IABP and IMPELLA. You'll float between ICU and IMCU units as needed, managing high-acuity patients in a dynamic surgical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in CT surgery or similar high-acuity surgical ICU setting
- BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA certification required
- Demonstrated experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices
- Electronic health record proficiency required
- Must have been separated from previous assignment for 6+ months to be considered
Additional Information
- Any color scrubs acceptable
- Orientation provided on a weekly basis
- No agency float to other facilities
