ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Burlington, MA
Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excludes any on-call hours worked)
About the Role
This ICU travel position is based in Burlington, MA, within a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment. Nurses in this role may be asked to float to the ICU or PCU as census demands.
Clinical Scope
- High-acuity critical care nursing with a patient population requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
- Experience managing complex ICU cases, including those typically seen in trauma-level settings
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- ASN minimum; current Massachusetts RN license required
- 2–5 years of ICU experience required
- Experience in a Trauma Level I facility preferred; Trauma Level II experience will be considered
- BLS and ACLS required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Requirements
- A telemetry competency test will be administered on the first day; this is pass/fail, and failure may result in assignment termination
- Candidates must have been separated from the hiring health system for a minimum of 6 months (permanent, per diem, or travel) prior to consideration
