Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Zanesville, OH

Join a high-volume emergency department in Zanesville, OH, managing a wide range of acute and critical presentations. This is a busy unit with a fast-paced environment and a broad scope of emergency care.

Schedule & Contract

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract, starting September 10, 2026
• Every other weekend required; holiday rotation required
• Call is not a standard expectation

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 3 completed ED travel assignments or 3 years of current/recent ED experience
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS — all required
• TNCC and ENPC strongly preferred
• Proficiency with a major electronic health record system is required; candidates without demonstrated EHR competency will not be considered

Clinical Environment

• High-acuity emergency department among the busiest in Ohio
• Broad patient population including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies
• Two dedicated trauma bays

Additional Notes

• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract period
• All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; post-confirmation RTO requests cannot be guaranteed
• Excessive holiday RTO requests will not be approved
