Registered Nurse

ICU / IMCU Travel Nurse — Night Shift | Cambridge, MA

This 13-week contract places an experienced ICU nurse in a high-acuity cardiac and surgical critical care environment. The unit manages complex post-operative CT surgery patients and requires hands-on proficiency with mechanical circulatory support devices, including IABP and Impella.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
• Every-other-weekend rotation required
• If working through the winter holiday season, 2 holidays are required

Clinical Scope

• High-acuity ICU care with a focus on post-CT surgery patients
• Management of IABP and Impella devices required
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU/cardiac surgical setting
• CT surgery nursing experience required
• Mechanical circulatory support device experience (IABP, Impella) required
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) — both required
• Active RN license applicable to Massachusetts
