Registered Nurse

Pediatric Cardiac ICU — Travel RN | Denver, CO

Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Contract

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a specialized Cardiac ICU caring for the congenital cardiac population, including medical neonates and complex pediatric cardiac patients. The unit operates in close collaboration with the PICU, giving you access to a rich network of clinical resources and support throughout every shift.

Clinical Scope

• Post-operative cardiac care, including post-sternotomy and open-chest patients
• Inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions
• IVF and chest tube management
• Moderate sedation
• Support for ECMO, CRRT, and peritoneal dialysis patients

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac critical care experience (required by director)
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Peritoneal dialysis and CRRT experience
• ECMO bedside experience

Schedule & Commitment

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per 4-week block
• Start date: September 28, 2026
