This Burn ICU in Nashville, TN cares for critically ill burn patients requiring advanced, high-acuity nursing intervention. The unit is supported by Charge RNs, staff RNs, and PCTs, providing a structured team environment for complex patient care.

Clinical Scope

• Management of critically ill burn patients
• Ventilator management and airway support
• Specialty wound and burn care
• Occasional continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
• Patient population spans ICU-level through step-down and med/surg acuity

Schedule & Expectations

• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Contract staff float first per unit policy
• Med/surg experience required as a baseline

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs

Requirements

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact license)
• Prior med/surg experience required; burn or critical care experience strongly preferred
