Operating Room RN — Pasadena, TX
Shift: 06:30–19:00 (Days) | Contract: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
This multi-specialty OR operates across a broad range of surgical services, offering a fast-paced, team-driven environment. The unit handles elective and emergent cases across general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and more. Night coverage is on-call only.
Procedures You'll Support:
- Open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, select bariatric cases)
- Robotic orthopedic procedures including total knee and hip replacements, as well as trauma orthopedic cases
- Laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and emergent surgical interventions
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Demonstrated scrub or circulating experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, or GYN
- BSN preferred
Preferred Experience:
- ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), or pediatric surgical experience
Position Details:
- Shift: 06:30–19:00
- On-call required weekly, plus one weekend per month
- No floating required
- Scrubs: Cobalt blue
