Assignment Overview

Join the operating room team for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) on a 5x8 schedule with weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities. On-call response time is 30 minutes. This role is based in Watertown, NY, and requires candidates to work within a 100-mile radius.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Knowledge of OR/ASU clinical equipment and aseptic techniques
• Ability to recognize and respond to safety concerns
• Competency in safe patient handling and lifting techniques

What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care by assessing patient needs across clinical, educational, mental, and spiritual dimensions. You'll function effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving and prioritization skills. Experienced RNs with preceptorship, charge, and leadership capabilities are encouraged to apply; you may be called upon to assume charge nurse duties as needed.
