Travel RN – Emergency Department | Aurora, CO | Nights
This active emergency department in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a 13-week night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Unit Overview
The ED manages a full spectrum of emergency care needs across a high-volume environment. The team is collaborative, experienced, and works alongside EMTs and medics on every shift. You'll be expected to deliver comprehensive, autonomous emergency care while communicating effectively with staff and providers.
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed per week
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current, acute care hospital ED experience
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Trauma experience
- Stroke care experience
Typical Procedures & Responsibilities
- Full-scope emergency department care delivery
- Assessment, stabilization, and treatment across all acuity levels
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary team including providers, nurses, and prehospital staff
