Registered Nurse – Oncology

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the oncology team in a Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift role (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

About the Role

You'll deliver specialized care to oncology patients, with a primary focus on chemotherapy administration. Working alongside physicians, nurse specialists, and support staff, you'll maintain high standards of safety and comfort while managing patients through active cancer treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent, direct oncology nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIH Certification required
• Chemotherapy certification and demonstrated competency in chemotherapy administration
• Georgia RN license

Preferred Experience

• ICU background
• Prior oncology or trauma experience

Schedule Expectations

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Holiday commitment: You must work 2 of the following 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) AND 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
