Respiratory Therapist — Night Shift | Greenville, SC | 13-Week Contract

This travel Respiratory Therapist opportunity is based in Greenville, SC, supporting an adult and geriatric patient population across a full spectrum of respiratory care services. The position covers all adult respiratory modalities, including ventilator management, treatments, and patient transport.

Shift & Schedule

Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required; schedule subject to adjustment as needed
The facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period

Clinical Scope

Mechanical ventilation management, weaning, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
BiPAP and CPAP therapy; high-flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen delivery
Extubation, tracheostomy care, nasal and oral airway placement, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection
Aerosol medication delivery via mask, trach, Medihaler, MDI, handheld, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers
Administration of bronchodilators and inhaled medications including albuterol, ipratropium, combination agents, inhaled steroids, racemic epinephrine, and others
Interdisciplinary collaboration with Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
Active RRT license in South Carolina (must be in hand; no pending licenses)
ACLS and BLS certifications required
High-acuity/trauma-level experience required
Electronic health record proficiency: minimum 1 year required
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted

Float to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs
36-hour orientation; pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of contract start
