Operating Room Nurse – Cleveland, OH
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse to join its operating room team on a 13-week contract. You'll work 36 guaranteed hours per week across rotating 8-hour shifts (including variable start times and rotating weekends).
Clinical Scope
You will circulate and scrub across multiple service lines including General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and Robotics. This is a versatile role requiring strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to diverse surgical specialties and patient populations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the day
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs. with assistance
Preferred Qualifications
- Level I trauma center experience
- CNOR certification
