Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift work in a dynamic medical-surgical telemetry environment. This is a 13-week contract position offering guaranteed 36-hour weeks.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend
• Night shift rotation (7 PM – 7:30 AM block)

Clinical Scope

You'll float across multiple med-surg units, providing patient care in:

• Orthopedic units
• Medical-surgical floors
• Neurology step-down units
• Oncology
• Surgical telemetry
• Medical-surgical telemetry

Float assignments may include our WestLakes Campus location (9.5 miles from downtown).

Requirements

• Current, active RN license
• Specialty-specific competency testing
• Required immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/QuantiFERON Gold)
• Physical/health statement and fit test
• Criminal background check
• Drug screening and color vision testing

Standard onboarding credentials apply (I-9 verification, confidentiality agreements, background checks, education verification).
