Medical-Surgical RN | Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit in Chattanooga, TN, with night shifts running 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM and guaranteed 36-hour weeks.

Unit Overview

The unit manages a diverse adult patient population with a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including respiratory illness, renal disease, GI conditions, and telemetry monitoring. Supportive team members include Clinical Coordinators, a Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management.

Clinical Scope

• Respiratory and renal disease management
• GI illness and disease
• Telemetry monitoring
• Central venous catheter (CVC) care
• Indwelling catheter management
• Heparin drip management
• Oncology and general surgery experience a plus, but not required

Scheduling

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating into rotation with other staff as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Medical-Surgical experience required
• Strong teamwork, communication, compassion, and collaboration skills
