Diagnostic Technologist – Outpatient

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist for its outpatient radiology department. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with minimal direct supervision, positioning patients and operating X-ray equipment across a range of anatomical areas including chest, extremities, and joints.

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients for X-ray imaging (chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, ankle)
• Operate X-ray equipment independently and process images into the facility's imaging system
• Provide basic patient care under clinic nurse supervision, including:
• Obtaining vital signs
• Placing patients in exam rooms
• Collecting specimens and performing blood draws (if qualified)
• Preparing patients for clinician evaluation
• Assisting clinicians during exams
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked work area
• Float to main radiology as needed

Requirements

• Current Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by California Department of Health Services
• Current CPR Certification
• California Fluoroscopy Permit
• Current ARRT licensure
• Prior traveler experience preferred

Assignment Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour days
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 9, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
