About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its radiology team on a night shift travel contract. You'll work in a high-volume MRI environment supporting adult acute and outpatient populations, with a focus on radiation safety and quality imaging.

Qualifications Required

ARRT (R)(MR) — both credentials required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
Active Virginia state license — must be in hand at time of submission
Experience in adult acute care and adult outpatient settings
Radiation safety competency

Shift & Scheduling Expectations

Night shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, five days per week
Some holiday coverage expected
Requests for time off should be minimal and submitted upfront; approval is at manager discretion

Orientation

All travelers must complete a mandatory radiology charting system training class (accelerated or two-day format) prior to unit start. Travelers with recent system experience may qualify for a condensed track. Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules are required during orientation.

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Flu vaccine required October 1 – March 31 (medical exemptions only)
