CT Technologist – Travel Contract | Arlington, VA
Shift: Days, 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)

Duration: 13 Weeks
A busy CT department is seeking an experienced, ARRT-registered CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The department handles approximately 130 visits per day across three scanning rooms, serving a patient population that includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in both acute and outpatient settings.
Clinical Scope
You will perform a wide range of CT studies and procedures, including:
- Abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head — with and without contrast
- Vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Starting peripheral IVs
- Advanced procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, CT arthrography, and virtual colonography
Requirements
- ARRT(R)(CT) – CT certification required
- Virginia license required; radiology techs may submit with proof of VA license application and active out-of-state license
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience
- BLS certification
- Experience with PACS and either GE or equipment
- Electronic health record experience preferred; an on-unit training class is required on day one

- Orientation: Approximately 24 hours, including required non-billable modules (up to 7 hours)
