Emergency Department Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a fast-paced clinical environment providing direct patient care and assessment.

Schedule & Requirements

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (morning shifts)
  • Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
  • Weekends: Every other weekend required
  • Float Duties: You will float as needed to the Clinical Decision Unit
  • Start Date: October 19, 2026

Certifications & Licensure

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) — current and in hand
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) — current and in hand
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
  • Georgia or compact state nursing license — must be current

Assignment Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks with 90 guaranteed hours
  • Travel Radius: 50-mile radius from assignment location
  • Candidate Type: Non-local travel nurses only
