Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for a 18-week winter coverage assignment. A 13-week option is also available. You'll deliver care to patients on telemetry monitoring in a dynamic med/surg environment, with potential float responsibilities to related units serving the same patient population.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs; the facility will make every effort to honor your preferred schedule
- Mandatory coverage: at least every other holiday
- Start date: October 5, 2026
Requirements
- Experience: 12 months permanent, full-time experience in med/surg or telemetry nursing
- License: Active permanent Ohio license or compact state license (in hand at submission)
- Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
- Professional references from a manager, ANM, or supervisor within the past 12 months (required for submission)
Orientation & Assessments
During onboarding, you'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Both must be passed within two attempts.
