Respiratory Therapist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week backfill contract in its respiratory department. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a weekend rotation with no on-call requirements.
Unit & Clinical Scope
You'll provide respiratory care across adult and pediatric populations, managing a dynamic patient census. Daily responsibilities include:
- Nebulizer and oxygen therapy administration
- Ventilator management and monitoring
- Supporting patients across multiple care settings
Requirements
- Current RRT certification
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
- ICU, NICU, or PICU experience preferred
Schedule & Logistics
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekend rotation
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Call: None
