13-Week Travel Contract | Days | 36 Hours/Week
A busy postpartum unit in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced Mother-Baby RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The unit cares for postpartum mothers and newborns in private couplet rooms, providing a team-oriented, high-support environment.
Shift Details
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekends required; no call shifts
Clinical Scope
- Newborn assessment and care, including circumcisions and bilirubin management
- Monitoring and care of patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
- Float support to L&D and NICU as helping hands
Required Qualifications
- Prior Mother-Baby / postpartum experience (required — no exceptions)
- BLS and NRP certifications (current)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience caring for Magnesium Sulfate patients post-delivery
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
