NICU Registered Nurse | Asheville, NC | 13-Week Contract
This Level III Neonatal ICU is a high-acuity unit caring for critically ill and premature neonates requiring complex, specialized nursing care. The unit operates around the clock with a dedicated team and offers a dynamic clinical environment with varying patient acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Every other weekend required
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
Clinical Details
- Patient population: Neonates requiring Level III or higher NICU care
- Float areas: Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (newborns only)
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
- NRP certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
- Detail-oriented, organized clinical approach essential
The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on experience in a high-acuity neonatal setting and is comfortable managing a varied assignment within a fast-paced, team-oriented unit. Candidates without Level III NICU experience will not be considered.
