Emergency Department Nurse

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: May 27, 2026

Role Overview

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This role involves triaging, assessment, patient monitoring, and assisting with acute care procedures across all acuity levels. You'll work as part of a collaborative clinical team serving a diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Current RN license (state-specific)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to manage high patient volumes and rapid room turnover
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and clinical judgment in a dynamic environment

What to Expect

The emergency department is a high-energy environment where you'll encounter a wide range of presentations—from minor injuries to critical emergencies. You'll develop skills in rapid assessment, time management, and working effectively under pressure while maintaining quality patient care.

Four positions are available. Interested candidates should be prepared to discuss their emergency nursing experience and comfort level with variable patient acuity.
