Emergency Department Nurse
Location: Asheville, NC
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
You'll deliver compassionate care across all areas of the ED, including trauma resuscitation, stroke evaluation, behavioral health, and pediatric emergencies.
What You'll Do
- Work alongside certified techs, unit clerks, and a collaborative team known for strong teamwork and welcoming personalities
- Implement AIDET patient experience principles and maintain open communication with patients throughout their visit
- Float flexibly within all ED sections (no floating outside the department)
- Support a comprehensive stroke center and Level II trauma operations
Requirements
- 2+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Current BLS; ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start date
- ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Navy scrubs required
