Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
Unit Details
Clinical Scope
You'll care for trauma patients, acute stroke cases, and a broad spectrum of emergency presentations in a high-acuity environment. Supporting staff and equipment include monitoring capabilities and documentation via electronic medical records.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Experience in high-volume, trauma-designated facilities strongly preferred
- Certifications required before or upon hire: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (ENPC within 90 days)
- Strong teamwork mentality and ability to provide real-time feedback
- Flexibility to float within the ED to all sections
- Willing to work every other weekend
