7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-week contract | 36 guaranteed hours per week
About the Role
Join a high-volume Emergency Department serving a diverse, multi-cultural community. You'll work alongside experienced RNs, techs, and unit clerks in a fast-paced environment focused on patient-centered care. The team is known for strong collaboration, welcoming personalities, and a commitment to excellence.
Clinical Scope
- Work across all ED sections; no floating outside the department
- Support comprehensive stroke care and trauma protocols
- Implement AIDET principles and maintain patient experience standards
Schedule & Flexibility
- Every other weekend required
- Must be flexible to work all areas of the ED
- Cannot commit to block scheduling; availability must meet departmental needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience; at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Previous experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED preferred
- Strong teamwork mentality; ability to coach and give real-time feedback
- Flexibility and adaptability across clinical areas
Certifications (Before Start Date)
ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS | ENPC within 90 days
