Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in its respiratory therapy department. This is a seasonal travel position with a 13-week contract.

Unit Profile

You'll work in a high-acuity critical care setting managing complex respiratory cases across adult ICU, pediatric ICU, and NICU populations. The facility provides 24/7 physician coverage and maintains adult ECMO capabilities. This is a fast-paced environment where strong clinical judgment and adaptability are essential.

Clinical Scope

• Advanced respiratory care treatments and therapies
• Invasive and noninvasive ventilator management
• Support for pediatric and neonatal patients
• Collaboration in a Level 1 trauma setting

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months current RRT experience
• NBRC Certification
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric/PICU experience
• Strong ICU background
