Med Surg

Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Keene, NH

This 13-week contract position places you on a Medical-Surgical unit caring for an adult and geriatric patient population. The role focuses on coordinating comprehensive nursing care, patient and family education, and maintaining professional clinical standards in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Shift & Hours

• 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour nights
• 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required if scheduled

Float Requirements

• Must be willing to float to an additional Med-Surg unit as needed
• May also float to a custodial care unit (higher patient ratio, lower acuity)

Holiday Coverage

Travelers must work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled:

• Thanksgiving Day / Friday after / weekend after
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day / weekend after
• New Year's Eve through New Year's Day / weekend after

Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license or multistate compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
• BLS and ACLS (both American Heart Association)
• Personal vehicle required
• New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License required at submission
• Medical-Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year) and one supervisory reference (within 2 years) required
• All RTO requests (maximum 5 days) must be submitted at time of profile upload — no exceptions
• No block scheduling accommodations
