Respiratory Therapist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in a fast-paced critical care and emergency department setting. You'll provide direct patient care across multiple acuity levels and age groups, from neonates through geriatric patients.

Shift & Schedule

Mid shift: 3x12-hour (15:00–03:30)
No on-call required
Weekend coverage mandatory
12 hours of orientation included

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department
Current RRT certification
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Valid state respiratory therapy license
First-time travelers welcome

Clinical Scope

You'll manage ventilator patients across all age groups, perform airway management, assist with intubations, and provide high-flow oxygen therapy. You'll work with advanced respiratory equipment including high-frequency ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP systems, HFNC, and specialized devices for airway clearance and management.
