Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to develop and deliver comprehensive treatment plans addressing swallowing, cognitive, and communication disorders. You'll work with residents to improve their functional communication abilities, reduce aspiration risk, and enhance their overall quality of life through evidence-based techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design individualized treatment plans focused on swallowing, cognitive, and communication improvement
• Deliver direct speech language pathology and audiology services
• Lead and coordinate care delivery in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care
• Document progress and modify treatment approaches based on resident outcomes

Position Details

• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week, guaranteed
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Sweetwater, TX
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Current Texas SLP license (required)
• Minimum 2 years SLP experience (required)
