Travel RN – Emergency Department | Wichita, KS

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This freestanding emergency department in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The contract runs 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, beginning September 9, 2026.

The Unit

Typical Procedures

• IV insertion and medication administration
• Procedural sedation
• Pediatric emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current ED RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel nursing experience or background in a high-volume ED
• Strong patient experience skills and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment

Unit Expectations

Medication and patient scanning is required with every administration. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-sufficient, and comfortable hitting the ground running in a busy environment.

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract: 13 weeks | 36 guaranteed hours/week
