Surgical Tech – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the surgical team in a fast-paced operating room environment. You'll work directly with surgeons and circulators to assist in patient care, maintain sterile field integrity, and ensure a safe surgical environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and circulators during surgical procedures
- Maintain strict sterile technique and a safe operating room environment
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgery
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Comply with all State and Federal healthcare regulations and facility policies
Schedule & Requirements
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE – Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Flexibility to work either 8- or 10-hour shifts
- On-call rotation: one weeknight call per week and weekend call every 5th weekend
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: October 5, 2026
Qualifications
- Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) or equivalent
- State licensure as required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-acuity surgical setting
